A Note From Our President
The last few years have been quite unusual - A worldwide financial crisis and recession, the continuing challenges of Vista, the release of Windows 7, etc. I am pleased that we have not only weathered the storm, but continue to grow steadily.
For Big Bang, 2010 brought the release of version 4.6 of the Universal Imaging Utility, which contains some exciting new features our customers have requested. The biggest new features include the full support of Windows 7 (32 & 64-bit) as well as support for all Apple Mac Intel-based hardware for Bootcamp or full install.
The next great product, currently in testing, is the Universal Imaging Utility System Deploy Plug-in (UIUSD), specifically designed for Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM). This new product offers solutions for the inherent driver deficiencies in SCCM. Specifically, SCCM administrators will no longer have to locate, install, or manage drivers, or create driver packages or driver Task Sequences - the UIUSD will do it all.
The first part of 2011 finds us changing our role from manufacturer and support only, to full sales as well with the dissolution of our relationship with Binary Research Int'l. We now will be taking care of our customers from R&D, production, and support all the way to sales and renewals. We are very excited about the change and the opportunity to communicate with our customers directly.
Big Bang will also continue to develop its sales channel distribution. This will hopefully make it even easier for customers to find out about the UIU and how it can benefit their organization.
As always, I am excited to see what the employees and customers of Big Bang can come up with next, and despite the ongoing challenges we all face in the IT world, I am really looking forward to our continuing success in 2012.
Big Bang is…
Behind the direction of owner and president Adam Murphy is a customer focused vision. The company seeks to make their unique technology readily available to help IT/Support departments in the Milwaukee area and around the world. To do this, Adam has hired an eclectic group of individuals to bring their unique talents and personalities together to create excellent products and take care of their valued customers.
The Big Bang office is quite unique. Adam's business philosophy is one of talent driven production. Goals are determined and expectations defined, then he provides the tools needed, places the responsibility in the capable hands of each individual and leaves it up to them to decide how best to get the work completed. This philosophy promotes extremely efficient work, as those who work best early in the morning are free to be in the office when it's quiet (there are only three early-birds) and the rest can feel free to determine how and when they will be able to work most productively.
But just as important as focus on the work at hand, personalities and individual interests are not only encouraged to express themselves, but are a focus of the office culture. Whether with finger dart wars, lunch-time Nintendo Wii tournaments, animated discussion about the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers, or rounds of golf after work, the Big Bang office is always an exciting place.
